Our Story

Craftsmanship Rooted in Heritage

Grainne O'Malley grew up surrounded by fine fabrics and the craft of tailoring in her family's beloved fabric store in County Mayo, Ireland. Inspired by her mother Anne — an accomplished seamstress renowned for exquisite wedding dresses and bespoke designs — Grainne developed a lifelong passion for quality textiles and precision garment work.

Now based in Bethesda, Maryland, Grainne brings that same dedication and craftsmanship to every project in the DMV. O'Malley Fabrics honours this family legacy of excellence, from the rolling hills of Connacht to the homes and wardrobes of Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.
